DAY 2 Oct 24 Friday arrive BEIJING
Arrive in Beijing, China’s cultural and political center. After passport
entry procedures, luggage claim and customs formalities, be met
and transfer to the North Garden Hotel. Rest to recover from jetlag.
DAY 3 Oct 25 Saturday BEIJING (B, L)
Take an excursion outside the city to see the Great Wall at Mutianyu,
have lunch and on return stop for photos at the 2008 Olympic sites.
Afternoon free. This evening see an Acrobats performance.
DAY 4 Oct 26 Sunday BEIJING/CHANGSHA (B)
Sightseeing this morning to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden
City’s Palace Museum. Return to the hotel to check-out and store
luggage with the bellman. Lunch on your own. Then tour to the
Temple of Heaven and stop at the Hongqiao Pearl Market for shopping.
Return to the hotel area for dinner on your own, pick-up your
luggage and transfer for the flight to Changsha. Be met and transfer
to the Dolton Hotel.

This morning you will meet your new child [Qi Fufeng]. Your guide
will assist you in the adoption and registration process at the Civil Affairs
Office.

Spend time adapting to your new family member while the notary
books and child’s passport are being processed. Take a half day
tour to Yue Lu Shu Yuan, a city park.
DAY 7 Oct 29 Wednesday CHANGSHA (B)
Spend time adapting to your new family member while documents
are being processed.
DAY 8 Oct 30 Thursday CHANGSHA (B)
Spend time adapting to your new family member while documents
are being processed.
DAY 9 Oct 31 Friday CHANGSHA/GUANGZHOU (B)
Check out of the hotel and store your luggage. Pick up passport
and notarization forms in the afternoon and take an overnight train
to Guangzhou.

Be met on arrival and transfer to the Victory Hotel. This morning
take visa photos and have a medical check-up for your new child.

Shopping or perhaps some local touring to the Six Banyan Tree
Pagoda or the Chen Family Ancestral Hall and Dr. Sun Yat Sen Memorial
Hall.
DAY 12 Nov 3 Monday GUANGZHOU (B)
US Consulate interview by appointment at 9:00AM this morning.
[Actually handled by the local guide.] Rest of the day at your leisure.
DAY 13 Nov 4 Tuesday GUANGZHOU/HONG KONG
Free morning. 4:30PM appearance at the Consulate for swearing
in and to pick up your new child’s passport with a visa for the USA.
Transfer to the railway station and take the train to Hong Kong. On
arrival be met and transfer to the Novotel City Gate Hotel.

DAY 14 Nov 5 Wednesday GUANGZHOU/USA (B)
Use the hotel shuttle service to the airport for the flight back to the
States.
