Week 3

Things are good. This past week was busy getting ready for Thanksgiving and then celebrating with family and friends. Kassie celebrated her first Thanksgiving and loved all aspects of the holiday. She loved having family around all day and happily bounced from one person to another all day. We were a group of six plus Kassie so preparing the meal was not exhausting. Needless to say, Kassie enjoyed the turkey and all the fixins’. She was a big fan of Grandma C’s meat stuffing so she ate pork, and veal, and beef besides the star of the meal….turkey. She also enjoyed the cranberry sauce, which surprised us all. And shocking…she loved being the center of attention.

We celebrated again with Kevin and Meghan and the kids and MeMa and PaPa on Friday for the traditional “poor pilgrim” sandwiches. Carol, Mikki and Joseph joined us for a Saturday night of leftovers. Then Sunday was turkey soup with Grandma, MeMa, and PaPa. Done with turkey. We went out to dinner on Monday night so no one was cooking and no one was cleaning up….YEAH!!

P.S. Kassie is becoming a good shopper…..SURPIRSE. MeMa and Mommy were able to get some Christmas shopping done in the past few days so we are happy. Kassie will be going to cut down her first Christmas tree this coming week so she will be enjoying our traditions of the season.
Love to all……
