Milestones

Kassie will be in the US 10 weeks on Monday the 19th. She has made unbelievable strides and I am sure will continue to amaze us. She understands so much of what we say to her. She is a great sleeper and a great eater. She is easy to laugh and has the ability to cry quickly as well. (She squints her eyes really tight in order to produce these HUGE crocodile tears when she is feeling dramatic.) She has learned to like her baths and now can climb into the tub without a tantrum. (Although she still does not love to have water in her eyes but time will make that fine as well.)

At breakfast this morning we were trying to get her to say “straw” as she was using one to drink her water. “Straw” came out like “taw”. She thought that sounded like “strong” and therefore moved to “dinosaur” which is a phrase in one of her Sandra Boynton books so we heard……”dinataur tong” quite a few times. It’s all coming together.
