BIG DAY…..September 8th……Kassie started preschool. There is a wonderful program around the corner and we know the director, some of the teachers and Kassie’s “Aunt Mikki” has been working there forever so there was no decision here, we knew where Kassie was going to go for preschool. We started her in the 4 yr old class which is taught by Miss Mikki. After about 3 days Aunt Mikki made the wise suggestion and discussed moving Kassie to the 3 yr old class. All the reasons were valid and true and she is doing well with the younger class. She is tiny by American standards – only in the 10% for height and 50% for weight. This class is in preschool for the first time so everyone is learning about rules, and lining up, and nap time, and sharing and all the important life lessons learned in preschool. She is talking more and more each day and obsesses over different toys each week.

September 30th…..Kassie Fu’s 4th birthday!! YEAH!! We are lucky enough to be able to use Bill’s brother-in-law’s time share (Thanks Bob!) and took a week to go to Orlando with Kassie Fu, Mommy, Daddy, MeMa, and PaPa. The plan was to go to Magic Kingdom on Kassie Fu’s 4th birthday and it was a magical day! Anyone who knows Disney knows they do it better than anyone. Kassie was the queen from the second we bought our tickets. She posed with everyone for pictures and all the princesses wished Princess Kassie a very happy birthday. For dinner, MeMa splurged and bought Kassie her very own Minnie Mouse costume so for dinner with Tigger, Pooh, Eyore, and Piglet, Kassie was dressed in her Minnie outfit. She smiled bigger than she has ever smiled before. She was fabulous, despite getting a sinus infection, the entire trip. From the plane to the parks to shopping and on to the pool and then out to dinner every night, she was funny, easy going, and a joy to travel with……we are so proud of her. We are blessed
